My Story
In 2013, I was stuck. I was unemployed, broke, and states away from home.
Instead of staying stuck, I packed up everything I owned in my clunky old Camry and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Since then, I've gained a decade of knowledge and skills in content marketing, copywriting, and more recently, video production.
And that career has led me to some awesome places. I've personally tested chainsaws as a product reviewer and writer for TopTenReviews. I've ghostwritten for Forbes. I've written content for one of the world's best-known furniture and lifestyle brands at Overstock.com.
And now, I run a successful YouTube channel for SafeWise.com sharing everything I've learned about safety and home security.
Taking that risk ten years ago brought me where I am today.
I'm still in Salt Lake City, but I no longer feel stuck. In fact, I'm constantly moving. Some of my favorite activities include running, hiking, indoor climbing, and yoga.
I live with my partner, and our two furry kids in Salt Lake City.
